Having mainly played the same course since arriving in Western Australia My recent adventure at Kwinana Golf Club delivered a nice surprise! From the unpredictable weather that shifted from overcast to sunny, and the challenging uphill back nine that i found pretty challenging.

Kwinana Golf Club is conveniently located just a short drive from vibrant Perth. Nestled in a good amount of tree, country like landscape, this course combines parkland scenery with a variety of challenging holes that appeal to both new and seasoned golfers.

A Journey Through Greens and Fairways

The opening holes were a good mix of fun and focus. Each hole was maintained well and the fairways were in very good condition. The greens offered a mixed putting experience due to just being sanded however i will be playing Kwinana again soon and i would imagine the greens will be in very good condition. The fairways although inviting weren't as big as they first looked, it is easy to find yourself behind a tree or two if you are not careful off the tee.

The Turning Point: The Back Nine

Things took an interesting turn as I transitioned to the back nine. The difficulty noticeably ramped up, helped by the never ending climb just as you start feeling the heat.

The back nine's challenges included tight fairways and elevated greens not forgetting the trees which do not disappear and are with you throughout the 18 holes.

Worth a Visit for Golf Enthusiasts

If you’re searching for a solid golf experience, Kwinana Golf Club is a course worth having a round at. With its decent layout, well maintained greens, and welcoming clubhouse, it creates the ideal setting for both casual rounds and competitive play.
